Star midfielder Destiny Ashadi has said he is delighted to be fully back with Katsina United after a long injury lay-off he suffered in the first match of the season against Wikki Tourists.
The CHAN Eagles player returned to action two weeks ago to help Katsina United stop visiting Remo Stars 3 – 2.
The creative midfielder told SCORENIGERIA that he’s glad and delighted to be fully back in action after battling groin and ankle injuries.
“Injuries have actually slowed me down this season. That is why people have not seen the best of me,” he said.
“It is very tough and painful watching your team play from the stands for almost six weeks.
“But now I am very happy to be back to full action with my team.
“We still have two more matches to go and these games are enough for me to showcase my talent.”
The former Kogi United star provided a sumptuous assist that gave Katsina United an important lead in the last home match against Sunshine Stars and he is part of the squad to Lagos to trade tackles with MFM FC on Monday.
