Katsina United have received a huge boost as injured Suleman Musa ‘Ronaldo’, Dami Pauli and leading goal scorer of the team Chinedu Udechukwu have all returned to full training.
Musa ‘Ronaldo’ scored a brace but also suffered a groin injury when Katsina United thumped visiting El Kanemi Warriors 3 – 0 three weeks ago.
Paul Dami has not featured for ‘The Chanji Boys’ since he returned from the FIFA Soccer World Cup in Bahamas.
Big striker Chinedu Udechukwu, who has netted five goals this season, picked up an ankle injury early this month at Nasarawa United.
The players have now resumed full training with the entire team and their availability will be a big plus when they slug it out against Niger Tornadoes today.
Coach Baldwin Bazuaye said: “They are very important to the team. Their availability will give us more options in their various departments.
“Paul and Musa may likely make the squad against Tornadoes because they have fully recovered, but Udechukwu still has some way to go.”
