Katsina United have now shot to 13th on the NPFL table after they edged past visiting Abia Warriors 1-0 behind closed doors at the weekend.

Skipper Nasiru Sani stepped forward and cleverly converted a penalty after 45 minutes after Adebayor upended Obinna Eleje inside the box.
It was Sani’s third goal from the penalty spot.
