Striker Chinedu Udechukwu has revealed he now hopes to score at least 17 goals this season after his two headed goals helped Katsina United sink Rivers United 2-0 on Thursday.
The big striker powered home in the eighth and 62nd minutes to record his fourth goal of the NPFL season in Thursday’s re-arranged fixture at the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium in Katsina.
“My confidence is back and I have set a target of 17 goals for myself, and I have got four already,” Udechukwu.
“I am extremely delighted to have scored my first brace of the season against a very disciplined Rivers United team and I am hungry for more goals because I am not satisfied with my goals’ tally yet.
“God’s willing I’ll get the remaining goals in the second round of the league. He maintained.
