Join us to celebrate the 59th birthday of our vastly experienced Co-ordinator Abdulganiyu Adeleke on this unique day – February 28.

The Kwara-born football administrator has transversed the entire length and breath of Nigeria as a club chieftain.

His wealth of experience spans several of Nigeria’s top clubs.

He started out at defunct NNPC FC of Kaduna, before he moved in 1990 to NUB FC also of Kaduna, who produced the likes of Garba ‘Chindo’Lawal and Ibrahim Babangida.

He then worked at Stationery Stores from 1991 to 1993.

He was at El Kanemi Warriors for the 1994 season, before he headed off to Kwara Bombers the following season.

He brought his experience to bear at Katsina United then under the ownership of former NFF president Abdulmumini Aminu between 1996 and 2000.

He was with Kwara United from 2000 to 2003.

Adeleke’s longest stewardship was at Lobi Stars, where he served between 2003 and 2014.

Some of those who played under him include present El Kanemi chairman Zenna Mala, Kogi United chairman Abdul Sule and Super Eagles chief coach Salisu Yusuf.
