Katsina United match winner against FC Ifeanyiubah Ashadi Destiny has vowed to do more after another five-star display in Sunday’s rescheduled NPFL game.
Midfielder Destiny conjured a magical free kick goal in first half stoppage time for Katsina United to edge past billionaire club and record their third win of the season on Sunday.
He was carried shoulder high by appreciative Katsina United fans as they chanted his name.
“I am happy to score the winning goal for my team. This is just the beginning because it’s my first goal of the season and it’s not going to be the last,” he declared.
“Our fans should be expecting more from us because they are yet to see our best.
“My team mates and I will continue to work hard so as to take our darling Katsina United to a greater height.”
The former Kogi United star had to shake off thigh and ankle injuries to play on Sunday.
