Suleman Musa ‘Ronaldo’ has returned to training with Katsina United after several weeks by the sidelines as a result of a foot injury.
The lanky striker’s return to full fitness was delayed by a slight illness, the player himself said.
He scored in his only NPFL appearance when he came on as a second half substitute to net the match winner against Nasarawa United at home.
On Thursday afternoon, he trained apart from the rest of the squad inside the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium in Katsina.
He jogged around the pitch several times and also kicked the ball with one of the trainers.
He is not expected to be part of the squad for Sunday’s NPFL clash at neigbouring Kano Pillars as his return is coming too close to the game.
