Musa Suleman ‘Ronaldo’ has said he hopes for more Man of the Match Awards after he stood out by scoring the goal that gave Katsina United victory over Nasarawa United in an NPFL clash on Sunday.

The NPFL Week 3 clash at the Muhammadu Dikko Stadium in Katsina was heading to a scoreless draw before Suleman was brought in for Bidemi Abdulwahab and he will snatch victory for ‘The Changi Boys’ 10 minutes from full time.

He was ecstatic to be the match winner in front of the home fans.

“I thank God for this opportunity to make the difference for my club,” he said.

“I hope that we continue to be victorious in our subsequent matches.

“Personally, I hope to be Man of the Match for many more matches.”

‘Ronaldo’ was an inspired substitution by coach Bala Nikyu.

“I brought him in to salvage us when the chips were down. He is a crafty player and I know he could cause a penalty in our favour, but I am happy he proved to be our match winner,” said coach Nikyu.
